The Purchasing and Contracting Department obtains materials, equipment, and/or services in a timely, cost effective manner, and at the best value to the Borough.

Tax Compliance

Kenai Peninsula Borough Code requires that businesses or individuals contracting to do business with the Kenai Peninsula Borough be in compliance with Borough tax provisions. No contract will be awarded to any individual or business who is found to be in violation of the Borough Code of Ordinances in the several areas of taxation.

The Tax Compliance Certificate must be signed by the bidder/proposer and submitted with the bid/proposal. Bids/proposals submitted without a SIGNED TAX COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE may be considered nonresponsive.
